Maintenance

Regular maintenance visits involve dental exams and cleaning.  The frequency of this visit depend on the rate of individual's plaque growth and calculus (tartar) buildup, one's response to treatment, and one's commitment to home care.  It is usually recommended for a periodontal patient to have his or her teeth cleaned every three months.
